Smart Wi-Fi air quality monitor from Nedis© is designed to provide you with a healthier lifestyle. It measures some of the most important particles and substances that can cause discomfort, headaches, and decreased concentration.
Connect it to your Wi-Fi network and you can see all the different measurements in the free Nedis© SmartLife app, both in real-time and over the past day, month, or year to track trends. You can even export this information to an Excel file and send it to yourself for further analysis or logging.
Set thresholds for when you want to receive push notifications or combine it with other Nedis© SmartLife products to set up automations for automatically ventilating, heating, cooling, or dehumidifying the room.
What does it measure?
CO2 (carbon dioxide) - we exhale it, plants need it, but do you have any idea about the current CO2 level in your home? In poorly ventilated rooms, the CO2 level can quickly increase, which can lead to headaches and decreased concentration.
Volatile organic compounds (VOC) - carbon-based gases emitted from many building materials, such as paint, flooring materials, adhesives, etc. High levels can cause illness or allergic reactions.
Formaldehyde - although it is mentioned in warning labels on cigarette packs, it is also used in many building materials such as hardboard, MDF, and many textiles! Especially when such materials get wet (e.g. after a leak), they start emitting formaldehyde, which can cause irritation in the eyes, nose, and throat.
Temperature and humidity - it may sound simple, but the overall indoor climate has a major impact on your health and comfort. High humidity levels not only make you feel uncomfortably warm, but also encourage the growth of mold and dust mites in the home. Low humidity can cause dry skin, lips, and throat, and make it more difficult to breathe.
