Water sensor (leakage) - Schneider Wiser

Wiser water leakage detector detects unwanted presence of water and alerts through alarm and/or notification in the Wiser by SE app.

When the detector detects water on the floor or another surface, it emits a sound alarm. The event is reported to the Wiser gateway by the detector, which is connected in the Wiser system.

The message is then forwarded to the connected smartphone. The detector should be placed where water leakage is most likely to occur: the lowest point in the basement, kitchen, bathroom, balcony, bedroom, living room, study, or in another suitable location.

The detector has two sensing pads on the underside of the casing. The pads are in contact with the floor surface when the detector is placed in its operational mode. The detector is activated in the event that water flows between the electrodes.
