This product from Philips Hue has been updated since mid-2019 with a new feature that allows you to control your Hue lighting with a Bluetooth connection (no Hue bridge required), in addition to the existing Wi-Fi capability (requires Hue bridge). To make the transition into the system easier, you can now connect your light sources to a special Hue Bluetooth application that looks and feels just like the original app, but with fewer features. Now you can choose up to 10 different light points in your home and try out Philips Hue as much as you like, before deciding to maybe purchase a Hue bridge and upgrade the whole system to full functionality. If you choose to try Hue via Bluetooth, all "smart home" functionality will not disappear! In addition to Philips Hue's accessory Hue Switch, you will also be able to connect your lights to both Google Home and Amazon Alexa and thus control your lights with your voice, just as if you had a Hue bridge in your home.

4 different light settings (Kelvin)
