Installation

Use your existing switch to control the smart lighting in a room or zone. You just need to configure the switch module with the lights you want to control in the Hue app.

Requires a Hue Bridge

The Philips Hue wall switch module requires a Hue Bridge (sold separately). The Hue Bridge also allows you to add up to 50 lights and 12 accessories throughout your home, create timers and routines, and control your lighting from anywhere – inside or outside the home – with the Hue app.

Ensure your smart lighting is always connected to a power source 

Make sure your smart lighting is always accessible when someone uses the standard switch to turn off the lights. With the wall switch module, the lights are always connected to a power source.

Change scenes by pressing the switch 

Use the switch to configure three different light scenes – simply turn on and off to switch between the scenes you choose.

Complete control from a smart device with the Hue Bridge

A Hue Bridge is required to connect and use the Philips Hue wall switch module. The module cannot be connected or controlled via Hue Bluetooth.
