Installation

The battery-powered Hue dimmer can be used as a regular wall switch. The installation requires no cables and is quick and easy. The switch is magnetic, which means it can be used as a remote control and carried around when not attached to the wall. It has a range of up to 12 meters.

Hue bulbs

With the Philips Hue switch, you can easily increase or decrease the brightness of your lighting. Switch between four preset light settings - Read, Relax, Energize, and Concentrate - by pressing the Hue button. Easily pair it with a Hue Bridge to customize the switch and add your favorite light scenes or set the perfect light based on the time of day.

Battery-powered

The Philips Hue dimmer switch is battery-powered, so no wires are needed and there is no installation required. If you prefer, it can be used as a remote control.

ZigBee

Philips Hue is based on ZigBee, a standard for low-power wireless control and monitoring of home equipment. New updates and improvements are wirelessly and seamlessly delivered to the Hue product through the software.

Pair the Hue Dimmer Switch with a Hue Bridge to control all of the lights, rooms, and zones in your home - regardless of where the switch is located - and customize the switch to your preferences.
